I have trouble posting with Mozilla 0.9.7 - it just hangs when I try to submit a post :(

I believe it has something to do with cookies because I don't have them enabled by default. I have to give permission before any cookies get set. I have however allowed all cookies from free-dc.org and therefore it shouldn't be a problem.

I have tried to delete all my free-dc cookies and enable all cookies, but that hasn't helped :( I do get 4 cookies though.

This was posted with Opera 6.

I also experienced this problem when posting here with 0.9.7 and also at http://www.linuxdiscussions.org/forums although all other vBulletin forums I frequent where ok.... weird.

It is a known bug with Mozilla 0.9.7.

Mozilla 0.9.6 works fine, so too do the nightly builds now available (0.9.7+).

Thanks for the info - do you have a specific build you are using, which is good and stable?

I had problems, as I use Geleon (and Geleon requires Mozilla).

I had difficulties using Galeon 1.0.2 and the 0.9.7 nightlies, so I went back to Galeon 1.0.1 and Mozilla 0.9.6.

Around Jan 25, we will have Mozilla 0.9.8.

And yes, 0.9.8 will probably arive in late January - that is the great thing about Mozilla - you never wait much more than a month before a new and better version is out :)

And it hasn't crashed yet either :)

So far it looks like I have gotten my self a good build :)

I have tried using those nightly builds before, but I haven't had much luck with them - they have been pretty unstable.

Compared to 0.9.6 I sadly haven't been too impressed with 0.9.7 - I must have got used to the fact that each new milestone has been much better than the previous one :)

It's too early to tell yet, but the fact that a nightly build is running pretty stable, must also mean that Mozilla is getting pretty good

Agreed, the latest milstones have been very good. The little playing with 0.9.7 that I did, it felt quicker than 0.9.6. How do you find it ?

Maybe a little quicker, but 0.9.6 was much more stable. I've had 0.9.7 crash several times :(

It has crashed at very odd times - when changing to another tab and such :(
It has crashed more times than 0.9.6 and 0.9.5 has done combined.

This has made me partly go back to using Opera.
