I have a tower, running SuSE 10, that will not connect in Boinc, so for the time being, I'm turning it to F@H.

Welcome. Hope F@H runs as smoothly for you as it has for me (another Linux user here).

I haven't run SETI since I used SuSE...been years.

Oh I've been running F@H off and on for a few years. I have few problems with it.
As far as running it in Linux, I run it in wine, because it at least gives me a more acceptable benchmark to go by, even though F@H says they don't use the benches anymore.
