If anyone gets here using local dns for instance, I know about the DNS problem. Dyyryath was renewing it yesterday and I think the MX record has been lost. I don't have access, but I'm sure once he checks his messages he'll sort it out..

It will take a while.

ns1.easydns.com resolves free-dc.org.
root servers don't though

I'm glad I visited the forums of the AMD users and I'm glad that Free-DC is alive

70.84.240.122 free-dc.org in the hosts file is working fine

BTW: where are the AMDusers located? Their forum currently shows last post at 26th dec 2006 about 1:00 am... looks like japan or something like that... I hope I'm not wrong

Looks like it's working now. You wouldn't believe the amount of email and IMs I got about it.

Thanks!!

Australia IIRC.

I was afraid the server went down, which would have been surprising because Free-DC is always up. Good to see that it was only a minor DNS problem.

Sorry for the DNS problem guys!

I just noticed the renewal mail in my SPAM box yesterday which, purely by coincidence, was the last day available to renew it.

It looks like it took a day from the time that I made the payment to get it renewed on their end.

*shakes finger* Dyyryath - In you SPAM BOX how did it get there!!! don't ya have it filter as a friend / Safe list. Thank god ya re-newed it... Imagine if ya hadn't DNS could have resolved to anywhere might have ended up looking at some FREE-DC members "movie collection" :rotfl:

I still vote that it was Lauren's fault. After all, he should have reminded Dyy to renew. :D
