I hate it sometimes.... DPAP was a quite little place where I and my box could quitly crunch a little and get up the ranks slowly..

And now all of a sudden , everybody jumps this project and:train: me!!!

That is not a nice behaviour!!:D :looney:

So lets do this guys even if I get roadkilled all the time:cry:

47 million and closing.

A minor blip with Herb dumping yesterday, shouldn't upset the timetable.

Resistance is futile. :borg:

Just warm em up with a hair dryer, or, just let them run for about a 1/2 hour until they warm up. Should work after that ;)
Back in the old days, I had a pair of ST-251 RLL drives that required the hair dryer treatment because of sticktion problems with that model. Sometimes you had to drop them about an inch from the table on their sides to make the heads break loose from the platters. :rotfl:

dead HDs Lauren.
Ya about 8 drives are dead so far. They have been spinning for a long time
And all my systems should be worked on, like new heat transfer compound
New fans move all the cables to make good connection

Now to get the magnets out of the dead hard drives. The A10 Magnets are the strongest magnets around :umm: Lifts like 20 to 30 Lbs each:hifi:

The gap to SETI Germany is down to 14.25 million and that equates to just over 4 days. Good to see plenty of activity today.

Nice :dump: from Meep helped us along but good support for the rest of the crew.

Nice :dump: yesterday from Longbow and great to see Lauren steaming up into teh top 100 and onwards to the top 50.
