What is RALPH@home?

RALPH@home is the official alpha test project for Rosetta@home (http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta). New application versions, work units, and updates in general will be tested here before being used for production. The goal for RALPH@home is to improve Rosetta@home (http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta).
Please consider the following before deciding to join:
Since this project is a testing environment, applications and work units may be unstable at times.
Credits and other competitive statistics do not mean anything in this test project. Credits may be lost due to instabilities and may be reset at any time for testing.
There will not be a continual flow of work units. Work units will be issued only when necessary for testing.
We urge participants to not abort work units to help with testing.
Please set the resource share low for this project compared to other production projects in your RALPH@home preferences. With that copied from their About section, I heard they have work to dish out at this time...

It's more like work for a day & then none for 2 or 3 days afterwords.

Also expect a lot of lost CPU Time, the latest v4.90 Application for Windows isn't running the way it is supposed to. The v4.90 WU's hang up at the 1% mark almost 100% of the Time. So far I've only had 1 WU complete successfully out of 20 or so WU's ... :bang: ... The rest are just hung up at 1%, some for 9 hr's & more now.

That's good to know.
I just wanted to make it clear, that it wasn't a project one would want to toss a lot of resources on and that the stats are meaningless, so no one would get angry or dissapointed if they were lost or reset.
