In that Crystalline OS with the "Express Downloader" was written for shared CPU and Shared Memory in a loosely Asychronous Parallel Neural Networking system; would this OS solve the distributed computing problem across multiple platforms?
It was only a thought, and I have no idea whom is still at the Booth Computer Center at Cal-Tech. The ones I worked with were: Dr. Geofrey Fox, Dr. Paul Hipes, Dr. Adam Kolawa, Dr. Jon Flowers, et al. on the Mark IV Hypercube fp in the Synchrotron Building. That was in the late 80's. It led to the development of the current iTanium Processor.

Was that while you and Al were inventing the internet?

No, then we used Telnet; I was doing non-trivial algorithms for a mining engineering problem to submit to the Mark IV and to the transputer development project!
