need program for taking music from ipod and putting back on computer.

I thought I already posted this question here. But, if so, I couldn't find the link.

Because of a hard drive malfunction, I have all my stuff on my ipod and no way to get it off.

if it was a simple copy paste job you should be able to plug the ipod back in and reverse the process if you used iTunes then just redown load the software it's free ;)

I was afraid that plugging my ipod back in and connecting it to I-tunes would have a glitch and erase everything off my ipod, so I downloaded a program called IpodCopy to do the dirty work.

What I ended up doing was using ipodcopy to get my music off my ipod. Then I downloaded Itunes and, just to make sure everything was synced up, I went ahead and let it erase my ipod and recopy the Music folder back on to the ipod. I may have wasted $20, but I wanted to keep my music collection as safe as possible.
