What about Majestic?

You can post in the Majestic12 section or shoot me a PM. I'll be happy to help if I could.

I love that MAME Emulator.

Now that you've reminded me, I think I'll go play a few later in the evening. Golden Axe anyone?

Heh,

I actually helped out a little with Mame back in the early (very early) days. I'm in one of the whatsnew.txt files for version 6 or something :)

Used to trade emails with the guy who started it all - Nicola Salmoria.

These days I tend to stick to the classics - Time Pilot, Galaga, Mr Do, Tutankham, Tron etc etc

Amazing piece of software though, I am VERY impressed with what they've done over the years..

Holy crap PY!!

I'm done.

The rest, I'll just keep with R@H. Its all Windows boxes and I prefer it to stay where they are... unless Free-DC needs that extra 100 cems. :smoking:

Your right PY is DA Man. But if he was his own team he would have to buy his own :fridge:
:umm: And Free-DC would still run over him:train:

Thanks guys.

I am abit worried that I haven't yet finish a single test and its been a week know since I started. I'll have to login and check them from time to time.

IB, I'll zip up contents of the file and shoot it over to you. Its a simple deployment script with whatever that I needed to run SoB.

Don't worry the tests do take a while.

I'm guessing you are using Xeons with hyperthreading enabled.
A 3.2 will take around 9 days to do a test with HT on.

To do a test in 4 days as has been suggested, you need to run it on a fast P4 with HT turned off.
P4 dualcores are also very quick but both cores accessing the memory at the same time takes the edge off a bit.

If you have the new dual core Xeons then you should be able to do tests in about 5 days.

I initially started out with 5 dual Opterons and they have been crunching 2 SoB service since last week.

Throughout this week, I've been installing SoB it on Celeron 2.4s and P4 2.8Ghz.

So my take is that I'll have the test done about every 10 days or so on th P4 and about 15 days for the Celeron 2.4Ghz. Are these ok numbers?

Look in the sob.log.
Every time the client does a block it writes to the log.

You can calculate how long a test is going to take by multlyplying the time to do one block by the number of blocks in the test. {Around 6300 Currently}.

If it is taking 2 minutes per block the test will be done in a bit under 9 days.

At last, completed my first 8 test.

Hopefully many more to come.
