Are we still going to have a protein update today at noon EST? Probably a little late to ask now, but I figured I would anyway. If the answer is no, that would be fine with me, I like this fast protein :D

Well the main DF web site is now down for "protein changeover" so I'm guessing than answer to your question is: yes

Man, 163...that's a long sequence. I guess we'll be doing some slow hokey-pokey for the next week now. :(

I do not think its the file nor the connection but the ftp server on the DF site. Too many connections from people like YOU and ME! ;)

I am on a school pipe and its still slow!

As I mentioned http://bane.free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=1164 , our server bandwidth is currently saturated by downloads. We are trying to establish mirror sites as soon as possible so if anyone has LARGE bandwidth to the internet (say 5Mbit or higher upload bandwidth) and is willing to be a mirror site for update files, please contact us at trades@mshri.on.ca.

Brian I have cable modem from Roadrunner and I use Apache Server. I can make a subdomain for you. Also I'm using Win XP pro and have created a VPN once or twice I have a firewall and I think I still have the right ports left open for VPN. I pay extra to roadrunner to not Violate TOS so that I can serve my own web stuff.

Best regards,
