You'll get a PM from axn1 telling you about the prime.
This LLRNET doesn't write the prime found in another file as the offline version but you can always check the results.txt file of all your machines!!!!

Are you'all running seiving or LLR, and which client do you use for Windows on an AMD XP2600?
(Never quite took the time to understand the math and processes behind these projects) - Just tell me which client to load and what to do. I'm sick of BOINC again...
Angus,
LLR/PRP on P4 architecture, sieving on Athlons.
Pretty simple though others know much more than me about it.
This (http://amdusers.com/forum/archive/index.php?t-1692.html) guide is pretty good I think.

Angus,
I do prp'ing client because it is automated and I dont have to babysit it. With the sieving you have to reserve the ranges and all of that other stuff. I dont know which works better for the computers you have though. Good luck!

How do I get into the stats? I've been crunching for a day or two now, and don't appear anywhere.
I tried submitting a post to the "Join a Team" thread but it never appeared.
Not very impressed so far....
They have moderator approval over at mersenne.org, so your first post has to be approved. It takes a couple of days, but bear with it :)

Now - where are the primes hidden?
Angus
If you want to find the Primes do LLR tests.
Choice is Riesel or Sierpinski.
Same Client just a different setting in the Config.
http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=6270
BTW
Here's one i found earlier http://primes.utm.edu/primes/page.php?id=79167 :D

I'm using the LLRNet client, with the Riesel port opened in the config file.
Is that all?
LLR tests only k*2^ną1 numbers, so, we will do a PRP test of 239062*5^170221-1
239062*5^170221-1 is not prime. RES64: 969B62E50312BED9 Time: 2565.750 sec.
Result 239062/170221 succesfully sent to the server.
LLR tests only k*2^ną1 numbers, so, we will do a PRP test of 134266*5^170257-1

BTW, tnerual, there's a project with easy primes to find, it's called Riesel Prime Search, just above Sierpinski/Riesel Base 5 forum...you should try it.
