Sorry folks but i am going to have to cut the electric consumption down a bit.
I went over estimation by 1000 units this month.

I'll let the PC's finish the WU's there currently doing they just won't pick up new ones.

I do have a few boxes in other locations which hopefully will continue to run.

Sorry to hear that.
I don't know if anyone is interested but I have access to two labs, plenty of space for computers. I don't know if any of the Free-DC members is willing to send me machines. I can't afford to buy them but I have free electricity. The average temperature of the lab is 10 ºC.

With three types of gas-water heaters running plus some other things the temperature remains at 10-15 ºC.

PCZ,

I think you need those quad cores, along with me.. Starting to cool down a little here, though today is back up to > 80F. I had fired up a couple of the older XP's last week in anticipation of lower aircon costs..

:scared: that fleet of yours to some of the less thirsty dual CPUs.

I'm sure you could find homes for some of your boxen and replace them with more thrifty models.

Not looking forward to our winter bill in the new year :scared:
