Poll: Highest KP/S?

Please report your kps rate while sieving, and the type of machine you're running it on.

For myself:

Athlon64 x2 4200+
750kps single process
Dual-core: 1500kps
Overclocked: 1600kps+

I think I was getting like 150kps on my old computer :)

got new p4 3.2 GHz dual core

and avg speed on each core is 180 k (((((

P4 are the worst of recent chips for sieving. Why it is like that is above my knowings. P4 are much better for PRP, LLR, factoring, etc.

Yup those things rock as prp, I won't say suxs I'd smile about the prp capabilites.

Might I also suggest you try running some secondpass testing. I think we could use some help there, no too many people doing it.

well sb and sbqueue can't connect thru corporate proxy with l/p ((
so i try to move completed blocks to home and upload by dialup )))

I wonder that this is most importatnt issue that must be solved next.
just imagine all those poor little clients that can't run behind firewall.........

Quad-core PowerMac G5 at 2.5GHz each. 4120 kp/sec (1030 kp/sec per core).

My other "machine" gets about 6000 kp/sec but, technically, it's 48 separate machines not one.
