ABC@Home (http://abcathome.com) have moved to their new project now. Old one is moved to beta (http://abcathome.com/beta) so the stats weren't lost, but on this one you restart from 0.

Seems pretty stable to me.

They have released a 64-bit client now for Linux that in saying is 2-3 times faster than the normal one :eek:

I've downloaded Ubuntu 64-bit but not installed it yet.

Is there any way to run Ubuntu CD Boot and be able to run this project?

Last time I tried it, It stated that I didnt have access to the HD's or mem sticks.

I have now got 4 64 bit athlons and no 64 bit OS to run them on.......
Not enough $$$$$$$ to get the XP 64bit.

You should be able to. It should create a RAM drive from which you could install and run BOINC.

it is actually to easy now, i accidentally made a 3rd one when i installed it on my laptop forgetting a space in the login name, but well, good for account count
