What's New Version 1.8.5
Added a check box for warning about protein time limit.
7 box view now shows protein point value.
EM can now detect which p145_1L2Yunf protein is worth 0.6 or 6.0 points.

I was not planning on a release since things have been going smoothly... at least until Stanford released the newest protein. I have been working on the "view" section of EM, but this release only shows 1 addition to that, the protein point value in the 7 box view. I also added a check box for those who constantly see that "Big Red X" that says you can't finish a protein in time when clearly you can. Put a check in that box and you won't see that again.

When Stanford released the latest protein, it was mislabeled as a p145_1L2Yunf when it should have been a p146_1L2Yunf. Since the protein has 10 times more dynamic steps to complete, 5,000,000 instead of 500,000 many thought something had gone wrong and either deleted the protein and started again, or rebooted the system thinking something was wrong. Since until now we never needed to know how many steps were involved in a work unit, I never bothered to read that information... I do now. Currently there is no fix to the internal stats info generated by EM when it involves one of these proteins. That would involve a lot of code writing just to fix a problem with one single protein, and it would only fix things just for that protein... that is not something I thought was a good idea. So, for now we will have to live with this problem. I may come up with a simple solution in the future, but for now at least the display is fixed.

What's New Version 1.8.6
EM will now correct the name of the p145 protein.

I hate to release two versions in a single day, but hey, that's service isn't it? :D

When EM detects that you are processing a p145_1L2Yunf protein and it is actually supposed to be a p146_1L2Yunf protein, EM will rename it. This will also fix the stats problem as each of these new proteins is added to your csv file. You can correct the data that has already been added if you want to take the time. Any p145 protein that has a long frame time and has been added in since July 22 should be considered a p146. Just change the 5 to a 6 then save the file. This will fix several problems.

At a minimum, make sure you extract the EMIII.exe and the emprotx.dat file so the HTML points calculator will work correctly from now on.

New EM protein dat file posted...
I got one of the new p147 proteins yesterday evening and of course when I visited the Stanford web site to find out about it ... nothing. This morning they have it listed, but I believe that the time limit they posted of 20 days is incorrect...

Anyway, if you didn't see it, I posted a fix for the p145/146 protein which will now display and track it because EM renames the protein so the stats will track correctly.
