Has anyone experience of running Athlon Thunderbird 1.4GHz processors on any of the AMD dual boards? I know only MP's are guaranteed to work in pairs, but if I had two Athlons with the same stepping (ie, AYHJA) would they work?

Sorry Dax, I was in a hurry. They should run ok on a Tyan S2460.
We also found out a 256mb non-ECC value ram would work in DIMM-1 on some of the motherboards, and a 512mb stick would not.
I use all ECC Registered memory in my Duals tho.
2 use 512mb pc2100 and 1 uses 2 256mb pc2100 modules just fine.
The Tyan S2460 is notorious for having DIMM slot problems.
I have 1 Dual that was DOA, got an RMA for it, upon it's return, it was DOA again. I'm hoping the 3rd time is a charm.
