i cant axcess web page i cant update my software says server is down whats wrong it worked last night fine

The IP addresses of the server(s) have changed. You can access the web page here: http://206.248.62.8/index.html

Once the DNS entries get updated over the next 72 hours things should settle down and everything should work better than it did before.

can i update the dns or is it something on there side i cant even fold now it says looking for updates then says server is down

to update your hosts file so you don't have to wait for your dns server to update to the latest settings for the distributed folding servers, take a look at the following page that describes how to update your "hosts" file to get rid of annoying ads:

at the top of the Hosts file, add the following 2 entries for distributed folding:

206.248.62.8 www.distributedfolding.org
206.248.62.8 anteater*.distributedfolding.org
----------------------

if you save with wordpad or notepad, it usually sticks a .txt extension on the file; so you have to delete the original HOSTS file, and rename HOSTS.TXT to HOSTS.

both sets of dns servers that I use still haven't gotten the updated info.. so this is the only way I could get my buffered structures to upload and get the faster update.. (speed!!!!)
