Google not real helpful. Shows forty-leven posts from other ppl asking "WTF is 'Caught signal 11'?"

Looks like I could make a mint writing a book, "Living with Caught Signal 11". Once I figure it out, that is.

I'll work on it.

Sig 11 is a Segmentation Fault, or generic program crash in UNIX. A NULL pointer was dereferenced or something similar. Since it only happens on your machine and not everyone's, it is either a hardware problem (RAM likely) or an OS issue
(I see you have AMD and SuSE Linux, neither of which have been tested). You may wish to try the other linux version to see if it makes a difference (built with a different compiler). You may have to make a symbolic link to ncurses-4 if you only have ncurses-5 - youll get a complaint when you try to run it if this is the case.

Thanks, Brian & McGoff. *sigh*

/me rolls up sleeves, shakes out pile of RAM sticks, clicks over to Adrian's Rojak Pot (http://www.itcp.net/~awsh/), all the while mumbling chants to the gods of RAM and trans-dimensional front-side busses.../
