and see we have lots of movement ! :)

Plaidfishes passed angus rice
Tax Bracket passed Ponky

We need these kinds of efforts like this and I hope it continues :)

They're starting a gauntlet over on Ars, which is going to increase their output ALOT more. :(
It will last one month, which means, we're going to have a BIG problem staying up front.
This is their most serious attempt in the bid for 1st place.
Their gauntlet starts Sept 1st, and ends on Sept. 30th
We either have to ALL get on the ball NOW during this time period or we can prepare to move over to one side and wave.
They have guzzler that does 3-4x as much as I can dish out, so we need xj10bt to box his ears for us :jester:
Maybe FoBoT and xj10bt will fight over crushing him. :smoking:

I borged 3 extra P4/1.5MHz boxen for the weekend that I usually don't get access to during the week.

My current production = 1.5 Million structures/day! :D :D :D

It's funny to watch Mashrinx' stats vs mine. (And I DO watch them, believe me.) During the week, he slaughters me. On the weekends, I gain back some lost ground. He'll catch me eventually, but I'll put it off as long as possible. :p

Anyway, he complains that the weekday users of his borged boxen turn their machines off at 5pm on Friday and that's what cuts his production.

That's the very reason why I always work till 6 or 7 on Fridays! :jester:

anyway - though i'd just pop my head in and say hi! move to dist fold from f@h->ud->d2ol (all had problems) and now seem to have settled with dist fold...hopefully my p4 2.7GHz (about 200,000 structures a day if i don't use it) will help (only have one maching to play with :cry: )

Ah, I see you've noticed my little... er, bump. Yeah, this is the same lab that mostly put me where I am. Thought I'd borrow it again this weekend since we have a fast protein. And figured since I was at it, I'd borrow the other processor on each of those boxen too, since it's early in the semester and nobody is likely to be using the lab. And, while I was at it, thought I'd use the -rt switch since they have half a gig of ram each. Turns out P3's do pretty well with that switch . :D
In case you were curious, that's currently 19 dual P3/800s (Dells, actually ;) ) plus the various other crunchers that were crunching for me before. Unfortunately the lab goes back where it was (ie idle) on Monday morning, but in the meantime, Dyyryath had better watch his cute little heinie :jester:

There is a LOT of activity in the other colors as well...ALL production tiers are putting out a great effort.

There is competition centered around 45M, 18M and 5M with good races going on in each category.

And pfb is climbing hard to make the first dyy stats page!!
