That looks pretty bloody good alright, and how can I refuse a game being released on my birthday eh? :)

I pre-purchased and downloaded the game, waiting for the release now.

I played the demo on the Xbox 360 and it is definitely exciting and exhilarating but it seems to lack polish a bit. I thought the character movement felt a little bit slidy like if you were on ice, and the aiming didn't really seem tight enough for me. That said, I only played the first mission.

They should've chosen their release date more carefully too, so many highly awaited games have just been released (Saints Row 2, Gears of War 2, Call of Duty: World at War, Fallout 3, Fable 2 etc.) that it might have problems selling initially.

selling it has been so eagerly awaited. Being able to play as the survivors and as the boss infected.

Playing the demo will be nothing against playing the full game in all it's gorey glory.

The AI controlled survivors hang back too much you always have to initiate the encounters.

Group up with 3 mates or more and this will be one hell of a game.

As far as I can see it is the ultimate coop game.

The game freezes up on me a lot during game play with a GTX280.
Guess I'll have to tune it way down on the graphics, or try to re-load the latest nvidia drivers.

So here's my tips

No Mercy

Straght forward group up and watch yours and your team's backs.

Listen for the tell tale breathing of each of the special infected or the witch's weeping.

When the tank arrives set-up a cross fire and it should be no problem.

In the hospital when waiting for the lift grab enough ammo then don't wait by the lift go down the other end of the corridor only one entrance and your combined firepower is easily enough. Loads safer.

On the roof just play as a team zombie horde, tank, horde, tank then go for the helipad and don't get creative. Pipe bombs are a must for me.

Dead Air

The finale is very easy if you all go to the plane behind the one your are refeuling the zombies have to travel a long way to get to you so are easily cut down before they reach you. You just pop back to the minigun to rearm every time the tank comes. Same formula horde, tank, horde tank go to the plane and don't get creative.

Death Toll

The finale is a little more interesting as the variables are greater as there is no "best spot" . Horde, tank, horde, tank as ever so just stay grouped and don't let the smokers and hunters prey on lone fighters.

Bood Harvest is pretty much a set up of cross fire up the stairs in any of the rooms and just be sensible with the tank phases.

Versus is a totally different kettle of fish.

Sounds like fun! I've been playing it single player only. Lots of action to say the least. :)

is the ai is fairly passive.

You have to lead the other 3 through everything, they're good shots without a doubt and if you need someone covering your back they are better than most real life players.

To take the tank down the best way is to have the auto shotty carrier, if you have one, hide out of the way thne someone gets the tank to follow them best be the one with the highest health and then the shotty guy jumps out behind the tank and empties his shells into the tank's back with the firepower of the others on it too the tank goes down quickly.
