I suck up all I can when they make them ready

MindModelling is a tough one all right.. VERY short wu's, so lot's of network traffic and I found it would often wait until it finished all wu's in the cache before requesting any more for some reason, so at times there could be periods of time without any work requested....

So I'd run it at a high priority with another project at a lower priority.

Well it has been a longggggg couple days I guess I sucked them dry of WU's
But NOW I'm filling up Again
And we should Take 12th from AMD Users tomorrow with any luck

I have mine set at 9.25 days and I get like 500 WU's at a time and it only takes me about 10 Hrs to do them
Bad side is the PC only uploads every 10 Hrs
Set yours at 2 days

I am at full speed now with only a trickle of power going to the other projects I am working on
I think I have to hit 50K+ to come close to what is needed to take down SETI.USA By tomorrow

It seems that if you change between projects a lot (as I certainly do) BOINC goes a bit senile. A few project detaches and resets and Lauren's tip seem to have sorted me out :thumbs:

It's taking about 1.5 to 2.5 minutes to complete a work unit, so they are fast.

The challenge, if it's not too much of a bother for you, is to find out how many cores it's going to take to match my output.
Free-DC is so far behind in this project, it wouldn't hurt to crunch a little to find LGM for Free-DC anyways.

Hint: I don't use CPUs on Seti :D

I think i managed to cobble together the correct URL to join the Free-DC team - for some reason, the Join Team link doesn't display on our team page, so I looked at the "join" link on other team pages and copied it, substituting the Free-DC id of 99. My profile shows I'm joined, but I don't appear in the team list yet. Maybe some of those pages are cached. :hair:
