I would love to see TeamBeOS be #1!

In fact, I'll make you a deal. If you guys become the #1 contributing group, I'll make a GUI for the BeOS client. :)

Louie,

You rock :) I downloaded the client and am running it on one of my dual XP1500 BeBoxes..if it doesn't crash I'll put it on the other BeOS duallie and a BeOS TBird.

Questions -

1. Recommended way to stop it? Ctrl+C?

2. If I added a team to the .conf file..do I need to stop/restart the client?

Thanks for catering to the BeOS community :)

Yeah, ctrl+c will stop it (itll crash, but that's how you stop it). Or if you've put it into the background just kill -9 it. And any changes to the .conf file you have to restart the client.

Thanks in advance for that GUI ;)

Okay, well..

I couldn't wait for the GUI.. so I made a simple one.

It is on <a href="http://bebits.com/">BeBits</a> now.

It supports creating accounts as well.

It is coded internally to be very easy to add the remainder of the options, so when I hand the code over to SB to improve upon, it will be a much less signifigant task.

I plan to, in the near future (like tomorrow), have the SB client run at a lower priority, without any code changes to the client itself. This is normal for me BTW.. I hate changing code in big projects.. or other ppl's code. SO I work around it.

Contact me for answers!

No, the answer isn't 'overall'. It's either tests or production (cems).

_V_ - i think i had overall production specifically in mind but if TeamBeOS can get overall tests, i'd consider that #1 too.

looncraz - woah... neat. i have a few questions though. please email me directly and explain exactly how the client you wrapped works. also, i can give you a nicer rendered image for the splash if you want. lhelm@umich.edu

Louie,

TeamBeOS has #1 in Fastest Overall and #1 in Fastest Last 24 Hours...#5 in Test Production and #8 in Overall Production....doesn't that count for something? :) Can we have a GUI..pleeeeaasseee???? :) Unless it would slow down the client that is... ;)
