Ok, here is my question for the day. Are there any mucis players (like WinAmp) that play the Ogg Vorbis file type (http://www.vorbis.com) without the proc overhead of WinAmp? Currently, on my work machine, playing Oggs, WinAmp can suck up to 20% proctime. I need that to go away.

Any suggestions?

DP,

Have you checked whether Cool Player does Ogg? FreeAMP?

Not really helpful to you but under BeOS checking my CPU usage shows about 3% total for running ogg files.

I guess it depends on how fast your PC is - if it's a 486DX, then 20% doesn't sound that bad :p
