Have you noticed that we passed the 1% completed point? With an estimated 20.5 million DP values required to give us a 50/50 chance of solving the problem, we’re well past the 1% point. At this moment we have had more than 233,000 DP values submitted! And we’re currently receiving more than 23,000 DP values a day with the rate growing daily! Remember that we launched on November 7th, which means we only required 17 days to reach the 1% point! At the rate we’re growing, I fully expect us to reach 2% much faster than the first 1%.

As you probably know, we have two new GUI wrappers listed in the client section. The one by Jeff is amazing in the amount of statistic information. While the one by XsCode is fantastic for people that run a large collection of client systems.

Hawkeye177 just finished a manual upload web page for people behind firewalls. Simply provide the email address to credit the DP values towards, give it the .PND filename to upload, and it does the rest! If you can’t use direct connection to the ECC2 DP server, you may want to give this a try. Note that it only works with .PND files and doesn’t (so far) work with with DPLIST files.

We have a preliminary *nix client running and will be releasing it for beta testing within a few days. After many setbacks, it appears we’ll actually be able to post this very soon!

A last item is regarding the direct-connect upload ports. We just opened a third port at the request of EvilRick. You can now use: 23, 80, and 8080.
