I noticed that David David Broadhurst wrote this to one mailing list and I think that he has a point.

http://www.kugano.com/prime.txt
claims that 46157*2^698207+1 is
> the second largest known Proth prime.

What are these
5*2^1320487+1 397507 g55 2002
5*2^1282755+1 386149 g55 2002
32883*2^1000004+1 301036 p86 2002
3*2^916773+1 275977 g245 2001
5*2^819739+1 246767 g55 2001
if not Proths?

David

Yes, He means that the SB new prime is the 6th greatest, Not the 2nd:p

But I think that with so many partners The SB team can successfully find the 2nd even the 1st greatest (known) Proth.:D

sounds like we were wrong and it is the 6th. we had to rush to get the release together before the holiday and must have made a mistake. i'll correct it soon as i can.
