I read the support docs in distribfold directory, and I tried to run it in the command prompt. (c:\distribfold\sleep 100)

during the 100 seconds, I got a "dos" window, and watched both taskmanager (continued showing 99% CPU usage for foldtrajlite.exe) and dfGUI (continued showing folds being completed)

This is not a problem, but I am curious.... what does sleep.exe do?

TIA,

-Sid

:sleepy:

It's just there to provide a timed delay while other things happen. Running programs continue to run, but the batch process, like foldit or distrib-update pauses for the number of seconds passed as a parameter, to allow updates time to complete.

It's just the Windows equivalent of a Unix standard utility. :)
