View Full Version : linux: old z files?

Under linux, I am finding a few z files from previously completed runs. Looking at the logs, the runs completed but the client could not connect to the server (had some nasty network problems).

Is there anyway to find out if the results for these z files were reported? The log files have no indication either way.

More than one test has since been run in directories with old z files, so I would have expected them to be reported and the files deleted. But there they are.

Suggestions? Guidance?

The number after the "z" in the filename is the n value of the test; if you can post the filenames, chances are good that those n values are unique and I can dig into the server logs and see if they ever got reported.

They never got reported. Not only that, but there were never any progress reports made on them either. All but a very few of them have already been re-assigned and tested by other users, so if you want you can just delete the cache files ... sorry it didn't work out =(

Yeah, figured that with the 5-day limit they would have been recycled very soon after I first reported the files.

As for lack of progress reports, they were tested on linux P4 systems, meaning the 0.97 client. Anyone have word on a linux 1.* client that will not dump core on P4s?
