Sure, it's nice to have 69% of teams' production, but what forced you to run away from this project?

I did ECCp-109 for well over a year, so when ECC2 started I decided to put everything on it.

I'm very unsure if this project is producing useful data right now. I read rumours the client produces - at least sometimes - broken results, etc. The uploading problems some time ago have been just the final reason for me to switch (back to DF and partially to RC5-72, now it is active).

With other words: I'm waiting for version 5 of the client.

Just to clarify things:

Projects is producing useful data now, problems was there, because there were some (+-20) bogus (=cheated) results in top250 file and thus when client tried to use them as pattern it was producing bad results.

And uploading is working all right now, no results lost for last 3 weeks or so.

I downloaded the unix client... lesse what happens.
Do I need to download anything other then just the client?
Besides running it of course ;)
Is there a config file/script file suggestion for a *nix box?

Hi IronBits,

I'm not active on the project right now, so I'm sure Supp will help you more.

You should at least download the "top 250 results" file because this project uses a generic algorithm which works better if you import "good results" of other user (I think project distributed folding is trying to implement the same right now).

I'm not sure if this file is included in the standard download. Look at the size of the results.dat; if it's size is zero after the download, then download the top250.
