How is the sieving Status for k=4847 ??? Which Ranges must be sieved ???

I'm almost done with 1500-1600. I've also asked Bellbox if he's continuing on 1340-1400, but he hasn't answered yet.

If you're faster than my PIV 1.5Ghz, maybe you should take 1340 if it's free.
1600 and up is also free afaik.

BTW,

Don't forget that you only have to siev numbers above 2M and not the whole range from 1-3M. this will save about 40% of the sieving time.

In fact, 871 of the remaining ~ 4000 numbers are already finished and there are also 242 pending as of 5:59 pm EST, 14 Jan. 2003.

max n is 2270151 now. so, it might be a better idea to narrow the range even further to something like 2,250,000 to 3,000,000.

That way you might gain extra %25.

are any Ns being tested yet that were not seived first? IE are we running out of numbers yet?
