Look at the second half of this (http://arstechnica.infopop.net/OpenTopic/page?a=tpc&s=50009562&f=122097561&m=1910995645) thread, and here (http://pulse.battleaxe.net/).

If you can get Anarchy99 to sign up, we would win that for sure! :rotfl:

That's pretty cool!

I wonder if they'll see the same level of participation that the original project did. If so, I wonder if they'll start having bandwidth / infrastructure issues?

just show me where to sign up

It occurs to me that if you haven't already found it, Anarchy99, you ought to pop into the IRC channel. It seems like it would suit you and your seemingly unstoppable quest for 'instant gratification' when you post something. ;) :D

Project Dolphin has ended. The source was released and StoneTable from Ars is currently trying to get everything setup as a new project. At the moment you can pulse the new server, there are just no stats. Thats kind of what this whole thread was supposed to be about ;)

It has been named Project Orca and the website can be found at http://www.project-orca.com (or .net or .org). As you can see the website is under development (and so is a new client), but things are coming together rather quickly. This is looking promising. :)

If anyone was unsure, you can still continue to count your keystrokes with the old client, just change the pulse server to http://pulse.battleaxe.net/

If you don't have the pulse software anymore and you can't find it (I couldn't.. ), you can find it here (http://jedi.kosnet.ru/files/Pulse0-95.zip), but I have no idea who's site that is (was a google search result) so don't hammer it. :p

stonetable and goofball should have the new Orca pulse software out today! It should be less prone to cheaters than the older version as well! :) If all goes well, the project should be up running and with stats/teams etc... very soon! :D

So, are we going to officially do this or what? Come on people, start a Free-DC team!

AFAIK you cannot start teams YET. This feature has not been implemented up to now.

No, Project Dolphin (http://www.project-dolphin.net) has ended. StoneTable@Ars recreated the project under the name of Project Orca (http://www.project-orca.org).

Stats are still coming along. A lot of backend stuff is being rewritten and modified.
