Can't stop or run the service

The service says it's started but DFGui says it isn't doing anything and the cpu is idle in Task Manager. If I try to stop the service it won't stop just saying "stopping". I can run the client as a normal application with no problem.

I tried foldtrajlite /remove and it just kept adding dots to the line saying "stopping client"

I re-booted and it still is the same. The cient is running as an app without problems still.

Still can't explain why this happened but I think I've fixed the problem.

Set the service startup to manual, re-booted, then removed with foldtrajlite /remove, then re-installed the service.

Ho-hum.

The setup seems to be the crucial bit with running as a service. In particular, it REALLY doesn't like you trying to do a /install or /remove while the client is running.

Also, the starting and stopping can get borked up if you crash the system or the client. It loses track rather easily of whether or not it's running and are all the files put away neatly. :rolleyes:
