[Debian/GNU Linux] Question

I'm getting error message
"spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7",
usually in space 1 minute after booting up my machine.
IRQ7 is LPT (parallel port)

While it's not causing me any serious trouble, I'd like to know, what does it mean.

Any Linux guru knows??

hehe... thats assuming you dont actually need your parallel port. i've never used the one on my debian box.. . actually i dont even think i compiled the driver in the last kernel :)

I used it neither...dunno why it's still in kernel, nostalgy, maybe. :p
