New Stats System by THE-MK!

Hi to all the distributed.net-crunchers out there!

I've created some stats about the distributed.net projects!

There are stats for the following projects:
- RC5-72
- OGR-25
- OGR-24

My stats are having the following "features":
- Last Week Production
- Upcoming Conquest <--> Potential Threats (based on last week production)

I hope you enjoy my stats!

Just spotted a typo, click on any users nickname, and if they have no upcoming conquests, it reads:


No upcomping Conquests for whoever

..see the 'p' in upcoming? :)

I've changed the colors on my stats-site. The backgroundcolor is different to the "demo" page (now: brighter).

I've found that I don't really use your stats, simply for the reason that they are always yesterdays stats - like the official stats. I assume that is because you are fetching data from the official stats. Have you thought of grabbing data from DP's proxy stats, so we have something a little more up to date?

Just an idea, and I'm not saying there is anything wrong with your stats. That said, there is always room for improvement :D

Getting ahold of DPs pproxy log files would be an awesome trick ;)

- not all OGR-members of Free-DC are using DP's proxy
- and there are non-Free-DC-crunchers in DP's proxy-stats

That's the reason why I do not create some more up to date stats :mad:

I'm sorry guys, I prefer the "more official" stats, but they are not as up to date as I like :(

It would be great if the official stats at distributed.net would be updated every six hours or more often, but I think it won't be possible :cry:

in DP's proxy-OGR-stats OGR-24 AND OGR-25 stats are mixed up

erm, another thing:
- stats.distributed.net didn't update their stats, so my stats are old too
- lets have a look if they update it tonight...

The stats-update at distributed.net starts at 00:00 UTC. Usually the stats-update there finishes before 01:00 UTC (or 02:00 GMT + 0100). This time maybe it didn't finish before. My dataspider runs at 02:00 GMT + 0100, collects the data and computes some other things. I think that's the reason why you didn't show up in my stats.

I deleted the last run in my database and did some minutes ago another run and there you should show up with your "FreeDC Hydra Central" (or is it another account?)

Hi to all my stats-users out there!

I've changed something at my distributed.net-stats.

If you've watched them with the stats.the-mk.dydns.org-link, there are no big changes for you. Else you could need to correct your Favourites or links, whatever...

Background:
now a java-programm (instead of a php-skript) fetches all the stats-data from stats.distributed.net into a fresh database, because the php-line in my /etc/crontab wasn't very reliable (messages like "unable to load mm-module on line 0" made life difficult)
stats are now in *.html instead of *.php (faster for you, site doesn't need to be created if you want to watch it; it's a lot of data-overhead, but it's on the server side --> my diskspace, but it isn't worth mentioning on a 80 gigabytes harddisk :D)


So continue to have fun with my stats!

Sorry for being offline!

I had some client- and heat-issues. Over here in Austria/Europe we had about 38 degrees C and that's a little hot out there :(

I took that machine offline because I had no df-client to run for it, because after I downloaded the (not working :mad: native.val) windows-client I wanted to download the linux-one, but the server timed out. So to waste no electricity and no cpu-cycles I took it offline.

It should be back online now. Stats could be screwed up but it should work out within a day or so.

Nice to see that someone missed my stats :D

Erm, IB, a question: what about hosting my stats? Is there something we could do?
