What to run while DF is doing whatever DF is doing?

I tried to do a poll, but while I was listing all the opions I realized that even if I listed everthing I could think of, somebody would post that I left something off the list. So no poll.

Just a thread starter about what you think is a good project to run while DF gets "it" together. We need which one and why.

I lean towards 'health' related projects myself,
and I prefer to stay away from java based clients.
