New Genome core
EM-DC Website changes

Well, for some reason Stefan decided to change some numbers. Instead of showing 6000 iterations it has been changed to 600. Not that it matters as far as I can tell. The checkpoints are still only saved after each "sequence" or "frame" as EM displays it. I'm not sure exactly why it was changed, but those of you who use the new G@H core with the F@H client will need this update so everything will display properly. EM will detect the fact you don't have the latest core if that hasn't been downloaded yet and still display properly... I decided to do that since not everyone has gotten the new core yet. Life is never dull.

And, speaking of never dull, since Comcast has purchased the ATT broadband/cable stuff here in Dallas, the EM-DC web site may be up and down for a while. I will try and make it as painless as possible. I haven't been notified of when the changes will occur, but they will happen and I will have to make some adjustments. I'm not sure how it's all going to work out. It will be a wait and see situation for a while. So, if you try and visit the EM-DC web site during the month of March, it may be unavailable for a short while... very short I hope. I may set up a mirror so you may never see a problem... but I hate saying "never" as it can get you into trouble. Just be aware of what's going on, or may go on with the web site.

And, once again, thanks to all who have donated to the web site... everything helps.

Enjoy,

Larry
