I saw them move. :scared:

The top two leaders in Team Free-DC RC5-72 has started production again. A few days after DP started maneuvers on the front lines, IB countered by firing up a few boxen to maintain his lead and dominance in the area.

Will the two behemoths take the response to be an all out war or just another skirmish in the war for DC dominance?

Stay tuned on this channel for the latest updates regarding the "Conflict on RC5".

Don't be fooled by the proxy servers... They are good for keeping an eye on your output, but, Keep an eye on the official stats ;)

Hi Ironbits!

Nice to have you back! :|party|:

What about some more OGR-25-crunching? Just a suggestion... We would need some help over there to push our team into the top 100 :D

Have a nice day and crunch on!

And now, the great Gozilla of GigaHertz, IronBits starts to flex his muscles in another Project.

I can imagining it now, tiny people hurrily running away from the giant Gozilla's path.

IS THERE SOMEONE IN HERE THAT CAN STOP THIS MENACE?

/me run away before being trampled over by IB.

And the Godzilla of GigaHertz flexes his muscles to show the world.

A whopping 199 workunits was done by him as of yesterday, courtesy of The-MK's fantastic stats.

So, are we going to see more of this or is this just a flash in the pan

We will return with more information tomorrow. :smoking:

WOOT....

We have a new contender to the Godzilla of GigaHertz. Weighing in at approximately 180 pounds (I hope), and able to jump onto tall buildings in a single bounce, the one, the only, TheOtherPhil

** and the crowd roars in excitement **

We shall see how much can our new challenger bring to the table when the stats gets updated soon.

/me twidle my thumb while waiting anxiously :sleepy:

We will see (http://stats.the-mk.dyndns.org/) it at 2003-03-14 01:00 GMT +0100 ... plus some seconds to calculate the data in my dataspider :D

If you can't wait look at the real official d.net-stats (http://stats.distributed.net/team/tmsummary.php?project_id=8&team=910183941)

I didn't have an eye on the RC5-72 Teamstats (for me as an ogr-cruncher :p)... are we climbing or falling or staying at the same position in the stats?

Thx. Whatever it takes to stay ahead of course, but don't let that stop you from trying. ;) :)
There is no hope of me catching Dyyryath in DF before they zero out the stats (if they do. I do not know if that is fact yet).
I let him get too far ahead of me... :(
However, he's in for a BIG surprise if they do zero out the stats. :D
Until then, I have scattered out the pharm amoungst several other projects, to help out all I can, while trying to maintain a 2 millon per day output in DF.
It fell below that mark last night, (wonder why  :p) but that will soon be rectified. :)
Currently we have boxen on DF, SOB, DPAD, RC5-72, OGR and SETI. :D
Did I miss any? ;)
oh, and rumor has it, 2 duals will be returned to me,
and 2 more Duals will be purchased by my brother Tim! :scared:

Thx, I have a few here and there and none are commercial. ;)

Phil passes DP and takes the #2 spot!

I read about the OGR project having to re-do all the work (or something like that),
so I've decided to move my OGR systems to RC5-64 until we get updated information.

After being told that the RSA576 project was pretty much a waste, I took the two boxen I had there and moved them to rc5. It's a temporary thing, until I can get a java jre on them to run the zetagrid client. By the way, we're ahead of Ars in zeta, and looking to move up the ranks pretty quick. IronBits - you wanna help out a bit? :)

zetagrid

Is that a new project? Are we involved as a Team? Where can I get more information regarding it?

By the way, here is a cold one for everybody in RC5-72 for doing a great job thus far....

/me runs to IB's fridge to grab a 12 pack to share with the rest of the crew....

http://www.zetagrid.net/zeta/index.html

We do have a team, and we're doing better than Ars, TnT and DPC, which says something. Or maybe not. Ars seems to have quit, but TnT has developed an interest lately and is close behind us. I'm just glad I'm no longer the only one on the Free-DC team, since I run the client only every once in a while.

There are some issues with this project, like the lame (and I do mean lame) stats, and the occasional tendency for the Zetagrid site to vanish. And did I mention the lame stats? Lame stats.

The Zetagrid client seems to get along pretty well with SB. I can run both of them on the same box with only about a 5% hit on SB, though YMMV.

Let me know when they have a non-java command line client and I'll help out.

Darkness Productions

You can install it as a windows service, but I think you still need java to run it.
