I was curious as to how many of you have tryed this "new OS" out. I installed it on one of my machines today and it runs VERY smooth and crisp. I've not explored it fully yet, but I'm impressed by the performance of it for a member of the Microsoft server family. I've had bad experiences with the previous server release by Microsoft which included tediously long boot times and very bad performance. Overall, Windows 2003 installed quickly, kernel has little over head, and runs very smoothly. I've heard other complain about lack of drivers, but all my Windows 2000/XP drivers worked just fine for my hardware.
