Gauntlet Time

Let's start a guantlet in OGR!
Right after the end of the FAH week 4 gauntlet? (Thursday at 22:30 PST)
That would be Friday 17:00 hours PST or (Saturday May 31st, 00:00 UTC) to start.
1st stats would show up Saturday 16:59 hours PST, (Saturday May 31st, 23:59 UTC).
Say for two weeks? Plenty of time to switch clients to ;)

Need tips on the absolutely most tweaked settings to run the client with, on windows and *nix flavors.
Core B (1) seems to be faster on AMD rigs :)
Linkages to the clients, utilities etc.
Are there any good client monitors? Does it even need any?
This is a most excellent client ever, everyone should be able to run it! :D

It is a very kewl client.

Run it with -install to install as service, runs as a service even under W98.

Set and forget, and watch the points rack up. Never had it crash.

If he releases it during the Gauntlet, I vote we terminate the gauntlet ASAP so we can all get REAL BUSY and jump on DF.

Of course, if he releases before the Gauntlet starts, then I vote we postpone it.

Now Howard say "early June".
At the current production rate, looks like we will finish the current run (10 billion) on June 10th.
This gives us plenty of time for some FUN and one more good run at OGR.
The gauntlet is not a 1 vs 1 per se, but more of a Team effort to go higher than we have before!

I believe that the "official" stats are updated once a day at 5:00pm.

However, if you go here FDC OGR STATS (http://stats.allaboutuptime.net/ogr/byemail.html) you will find updates on a more frequent basis. I believe every hour but I could be off on the increments.

Those stats just indicate that you have submited WU's through his proxy. You'll show up on our team on dnet's stats today after stats update most likely.

With them trying to finish OGR-24, this may not have been the best time for a gauntlet, as they may randomly interspluice 24 units into your 25 slugfest! BTW, you guys are flying!

I did watch the stats very closely but unfortunately I did not record any of it down.

It was just basically daily reports of how high we climbed on a given day but on that note, did you guys know that we actually climbed ~800 positions in team rankings in around 4 months?

That is an amazing feat for a small team like ours.

Well actually when you posted the origional screen shot and anounced the gauntlet start I figured it got saved for comparison to the final. I may not have understood that only thing kept track of was team progress. Anyway no big.
