Not sure I understand "stuck"

From reading posts in the forum, I understand it is normal for the client to get "stuck" from time to time. But I thought this was supposed to last a matter of minutes and some kind of limit got relaxed to allow it to continue.

I've been "stuck" at the same place (Gen22 structure 8) for nearly 2 hours now... is this normal?

Is there something I am supposed to do to get crunching again?

edit: Just tried the recover button on dfGUI and now it has moved on to structure 12...... and is 'stuck' again.
How long do I let it sit this way before I do something? (although I have no idea what I would do)

AFAIK, it should eventually continue all by itself - you shouldn't have to do anything.
