In what has to be one of the strangest DC relevant stories I've seen in the news in some time, it appears that several members of dnet's project team have been arrested for chopping down a tree, and then posting pictures of it on a website. What were these guys thinking? <img src=http://www.free-dc.org/images/news/icon21.gif><br><br>Here's a link to the story, submitted by <a href="http://stats.zerothelement.com/cgi-bin/distributed-folding/render-user-detailed.pl?Id=6384"><b>IronBits</b></a>:<br><br><a href="http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/31682.html">Axe-wielding Texans savage oak tree, post pics, get caught</a><br><br>Man that's bizarre...<img src=http://www.free-dc.org/images/news/icon50.gif>

I've done some stupid things in my day, but I have to admit I just don't understand this. It just seems destructive for no reason. Hell, I've even been destructive for no reason, just not to living things...

BTW, sorry this took a day or so to get posted, IB. I've been unable to access my email for the last day or so while I was recompiling stuff on my development box.

Ok... that is it. If the boys at d.net is not going green then I will not crunch d.net anymore!

What the **** were they thinking of? Getting caught for chopping down a tree! Stupid :Pokes: :rotfl:

Please note that they chopped down the tree almost a year and a half ago... Not that it makes much of a difference, but they were younger and stupider then...
