Okay.. Im looking for Good Inexpensive Cooling Ideas for my Nice XP2000+ Boxen, currently Crunching SETI, but it's getting a little too warm my liking see it hit 55 C - using a case that has a Side Panel Fan built in,
Looks like this : http://www.maplin.co.uk/media/largeimages/34513i0.jpg (approx)
so looking for solutions, using the Heat Sink / Fan I got with the Chip.. got them to fit the heatsink to it cos I know they are a bitch and well lets just say if I had done it and took a chunk out the chip then I wouldn't have gotten another chip from the shop without having to pay for it...
So Solutions on a postcard Plz

I had an xp2200+ , burned up. would not stay cool. hit 72 and died. amd replaced it. Gave new one to brother hoping he will start folding (and save on my power bill).

Cheers Ghost, will look up UK suppliers for it... Anyone any other ideas? I would even think of shelling out quite a bit for cooling if I needed too..

The ThermalRight SLK-800 is one of the biggest and best HS' out there. Made of solid copper, and can handle up to an 80mm fan. Check out http://www.plycon.com for prices, but you may be able to find one closer to you for cheaper shipping.
