There seems to be quite a discussion going on at other sites on whether or not it would be a good idea to start a new team or stick with what they have now.
What's more important?
1) Being number #1
2) The science and hopes of a cure
3) I like to see my name in lights and crank out STATS baby!
Here is how I rank it
#2 - the reason most start a project in the first place
#1 - It is nice to see your Team in the number one spot
#3 - w00t, look at my pharm crank out them numbers
#4 - isn't it great when you can have the other 3 at the same time
I like this next one to...
#5 - If you see a project you like and you want to pitch in and help that project, go ahead and start up the Free-DC team, and we will support you here :D
If you don't know how to start a team, one of us here will either do it for you, or show/tell you how to do it.
Then Free-DC will give you a home and make you a homepage. And I'll bet there is a good possibility that some STATS will likely be developed, if the project supports such things. If you have someone on this new team that can do website development/design etc. we can give you access to keep your site updated. We can also provide a news posting service so you can have other members of the Team help input news and information to share.
And of course, you are always welcome to join us on IRC. :D
