Hi,

Some time ago one of the admins (dyyryath I suppose) pronounced to have made message-input boxes (where you write, reply to or edit messages) much bigger for easier input.

That's true for most forums, only the "hosted" ones seem to lack this feature. Is this intended?

The small input boxes is still present in the Seventeen or bust forums.

Is it fixable? I do a lot of editing in some threads and it whould help to get something bigger.

The size of the input box for me is far too large. Either that, or we have too many smilies.

Not supporting a resolution of 1024x768 seems crazy to me. *scroll, scroll*

Edit: I mean the input box in general, not on a particular forum.

The 'edit/input' box on the Free-DC forum is too large
The 'edit/input' box on the Distributed Folding Forum is too small.
The 'edit/input' box on the Seventeen or Bust Forum is too small.

Dyyryath has not 'fixed' them yet ;)

OK, here's the way the new size looks under Windows/IE at 1024x768:

I've already changed the one for the Distributed Folding area, but I'll hold off on the SoB area until someone 'official' chimes in with a request for the change.

Does anyone have any gripes about the new size?

I'm atleast semi-official.That's probably as good as it gets right now. Afaik our real 'leaders' are very busy with lots of other (RL) things.

I do most of the editing in our coordination threads (I'm a moderator there).
