Hello all.
The idea of this group is to bring newbies into the DC arena. Great! I often see/think of the hundreds of thousands of computers sitting idle because the general population has no idea what DCing is all about, or the potential benefits of harnessing all of those wasted CPU cycles.
So, what's the plan? How are you going to spread the word?
As a possible suggestion, I have seen a number of requests in other forums asking something along the lines of... "How do I inform management what DC is, and what is a good sales pitch for getting proper permissions? Security issues? etc." A well thought out sample presentation might help a lot of people.
I think the idea is great. Just curious about the battle plan.
