At a daily gain of ~40K, about two months...... :weggy:

Come get some ! :scared:

(Loud buzzer goes off) NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!

Sorry, sir. The correct answer was: NOT ENOUGH TO SAVE YOU!

Bwahahahahahahahaha! :walking:

Humph. Actually, I'm starting to have a hard time finding you in the rear-view mirror - looks to me like you're running out of gas... :rotfl:
Best get to work, if you want to even catch me in three months.... :whip: :Pokes:

Edit:

Hmmm. Looks like you are catching up at the rate of -80K per day. It'll take a LONG time at that rate..... :jester:

I think I see the problem. :scared:

You thought...

...that I was finished dumping...

...and had my pharm back online.

Gosh! Your mistake!

The reason you were having difficulties with the rear-view mirror was my heavy breathing.

Like, if I get much closer, we're gonna have to pick out drapes! :D

Your mirror should be clearer now. Check out Dyyryath's next coupla updates. Oh yeah, and FOLD FASTER!

rsbriggs

Well - managed a coupla :dump: s did we?

Ahh - there you are.
Wondered if you got lost back there somewhere....... :Pokes:

Paratima

HAH! So you can see me better at 1.3 million?

Still walkin'... :walking:

OK - I give up. You win. :notworthy

Some Boxen going down for Gentoo / LTSP / openMosix cluster configuration...

Output probably cut by 50% for the next week...... :(

Hold it right there, mein Herr.

Being beaten like an old rug is allowed. Capitulation is not.

Fold 'em if ya got 'em. I'll wait. :smoking:

Just not too long, ya hear?

rsbriggs

Capitulation??????????

Personally, I'd suggest that you use the time wisely, to build up as much of a head-start as you possibly can. You'll be needing it, shortly.....

:|ot|:

BTW IB / PCZ - that ASRock K7VM2 seems like a very nice board. Running very cool with 2400+ and 140 FSB. (I'm so tempted to bump that up from 133 a little more.)

The Barton 2500+ in the M7NCD pro cooks by comparison, and will be off-line for the next week until I get all this software re-built and installed. Nothing supports the nforce-2 harware very well... :(

The VIQ and other 2400+ should be here next week, and will be thrown into the mix to help whomp on Paratima a little more...

Everything is going into an openMosix cluster. Run 10x copies of DF on the server, and let the cluster move them around for max efficiently (said with fingers crossed....)

The 2 NICs arrived - will be used to net-boot some of the old hardware I have laying around.... 12 boxen crunching by next week, hopefully... Somewhere around 30Ghz worth...

Have a couple of machines back on line, with another couple to put on-line next week. Hope you managed to build up a big headstart.....

OHHHH - my bad - you're still BEHIND me...... :Pokes:

Verrrrry funny! And what was that remark earlier about three months? :bs:

If you got anything that runs in that pile of transistors you call a pharm, you better get it crankin', cause I can read the fine print on your license plate now.
Still walkin'. Note the boots => :walking:

Better think twice about coming up TOO close behind...

Hmmmmmm. I guess you're right for once, briggsy.

;) Probably safer just to go around!

...now where IS passing gear on this thing, anyway? :mouserun:

rsbriggs

Looks like you found passing gear :( - you're certainly putting out more than my poor little farm is capable of at the moment.... :dunno:

Got your PM. :p

Looks as if we are actually pretty evenly matched.

Of course, that isn't counting the 4 or 5 boxen that I have off-line, sneakernetting.

I am, therefore I dump! :dump:

To paraphrase the Joker:

"Where does he get those great graphics?" :jester:

Butt for now, parting is such sweet sorrow! :moon:

We must do this again sometime, really...

PS. Your PM mailbox is full. This can happen with uncleared Received OR Sent msgs.
