Upload your data now. It is not the right client.
Theoretically, the client will autoupdate.
If the update file does not extract, tgo to the Distfolding folder and start it manually.

Thiese WUs are MUCH faster.

Most of our team has not updated. Do it and do it quick. If you can't get it updated, let me know. in the channel

Well, this is a little distressing. None of my clients appear to have updated and I can't get into the DF site.

I downloaded the new client (W2K), what- files were dated March 12th........., autoupdate didn't work, downloaded again, what- same again........ fifth download, files dated March 14th, started up, runs OK now.

Very fast!

When it downloads (and tries to run) distrib-update (or whatever...) don't close error dialog and copy distrib-update.exe somewhere
then close error dialog and DF client, copy d-u back to DF folder and run it.

I've 'auto-updated' :( my clients this way.

It's possible the client has made up it's own protein, not being able to contact the server... I hope not, but... I can't tell yet...
But, it is FAST :D

It seems the new protein ony calcs 36 steps instead of 54, and they are fast steps!

I don't see mine doing any of the backtracking the older protein used to do...
