I have 2 Abit KA7 Mobos lying around with 2 K7 Athlons 800Mhz to go with.

But there is one serious problem: Both have some busted capacitors (or is the right word condensers?)

I need two different types but only got replacements for one type from the Abit support.
Does anyone know what to look after when geting new ones from an eletronic store execept for the capacity, voltage and temperature range(thats what I can identify on those capacitors)?
And the other thing is the fluid inside of the capacitors: How can I get it off the Mobos? That fluid probably conducts electricity and I don't want to short-circut anything.

So does any body have some tips for me ? I will try to post some pictures later to day when the digital camera comes back from work:D

Greets & Thanks

:help:anybody? :help:

I want those two back for crunching!
and it would enable another K7 500Mhz to do some part-time crunching..

So help me with ideas and knowledge! Pleeeease!
