Problems staying running

I'm having a lot of problems with my client staying running. It's installed as a service wtihout the GUI.

sometimes when i boot it starts up, sometimes it does not. other times it will shut off hours after i boot. i have to constantly check-up on it.

Anyone have any suggestions?

What are the details of your system/setup? Does your system have access to the internet when it boots up? On a restart, the client starts over so it has to download files from the project server.

I'm running Windows Xp Pro. i dont use the administrator account, but mine has full Admin capabilities (maybe it is the admin, just renamed, not sure)

I have a cable connection, and have internet instantly upon boot. no software required. no firewalls.

If i remember, i usually check my services list some time after boot. sometimes the service is running, other times i have to start it manually. Even more freaky is that sometimes the service shuts off all on it's own, and i have to restart it.

I am not using a screen saver, and nothing runs in the background that should interfear (like the evils of kazaa)
