Running DF my MP processors were/are getting very hot 78 degrees C.

Now is this too hot and if so how the hell can I get it sorted.

Also can anyone find an XP driver that works for a Promise® PDC20267

which is on the board I tried the one from the Gigabyte site and it didn't recognise it. :bang:

You have good intake and exhaust?

Clean cpu thoroughly
Re-apply a THIN FILM of paste
BIG, ALL copper heatsinks with big fans

All else fails leave the cover off and go around your house with aircraft carrier-grade ear protection...

That is way to hot... My duals are not stable at anything over 55C. I have found that its important to keep the vrm's cool as well so I now have the side off of the case with a fan blowing directly on the mobo and the window in the pharm room open. they are happly crunching along at 50c now
