Guess what has today occured to me...
I installed UD on and old machine of my friend (we are borg, resistance is futile...).

He has (good) old P2 450 at 100Mhz bus and UD benched it and gave it mark 100 - that's equal to P4 1.5GHz according to UD benchmark.

Strange, isn't it?

(Nowadays, Intel isn't what it used to be)

that is why the THINK/UD point system is screwed, THINK is good for the science, but not a good project for the moderate stats whores, its too easy to manipulate the stats in THINK, there stats system is goofy

I believe that score (CPU) is calculated once that machine returns a work unit. It somehow scores it for how long it took and compares that to a 1.5GHz machine. Once you return a unit from it, it should drop.

Yes, that was supposed to happen - now it crunches its 3rd WU and still 100.:eek:
