There output is up and it looks like they will be making a fight of it.

I'm tapped out right now... Not even a spare GHz lying around... However, if I get time, I might try to push some of my boxxen some more. Gotta get that extra little bit in the end ;)

Great performance over the last 24 hrs.
If there is interest in this Project from others in the team I will keep the boxes on this project.

Well, it seems that not only have we awoken US Distributed, but we've awoken Condor... He managed to shove out 337 during the last update, causing me to guess that he's brought about 20GHz to bear.

Here's to hoping for some more from others as well ;)

Yeah, I like this one so far.

As long as we can reasonably stay ahead of TSF I might play here for a while.

I put another xp2600 on it to ;)
Condor must has like 5000 GHz to work with. ;)

Whatever it is, it will never be enough.

Can anyone tell me off hand, if this is all port 80 traffic ?

Hey,

I did 3 days of work on CB but nothing ever showed up. I used same login and team name as last time.

I used free-dc before..do I need to go all uppercase now or what?

Any ideas?

It seems to be, as it's connecting to lifemap3.lifemapper.org. Netstat also seems to confirm this theory.

I think it is all port 80.
Each WU downloads about 500k of data so watch it if you borg 100 boxen :jester:

CB team name is uppercase FREE-DC

Unless there has been a stats glitch it looks like Jeff has left TPR and joined
US Distributed bringing 36,000 points with him. :(

Doesn't seem like a stats glitch. He's jumped ship, and pushed US Distributed 5 spots by doing so. Seems like it might take a little longer to catch them now ;)

I added this client to work in conjuction with ChessBrain on a handful of PCs.

How often are stats updated, and what's the best place to check stats for this project?

Thanks

get your stats fix from DP's site:

twice a day at ~1100 and 2300 UTC

Welcome aboard Willy

If you want to rack up the points faster run the CLI client.
The Screensaver version is very slow.

The CLI client did have problems but the latest version 1.001 has fixed all the bad ones.

BTW

You are doing well on CB, that must be a very large hand

You can also check your stats here (http://www.adventurevision.com/lifemapper/Free-DC.html)

Hey Guys,

PCZ registered over on our forum, so I wanted to stop by and say hey to everyone here at Free-DC. Looks like the new client has us back up and running with no problems. Were all working towards the same goal and I'm sure we need to keep an eye on the rear view mirror :-) Congratulations on your output in LifeMapper and best of luck to everyone here at Free-DC.

Matt
